Bariloche - A dream trip

The city of San Carlos de Bariloche is simply the best tourist destination in South America for those seeking to enjoy the winter season with lots of snow and low temperatures leaving nothing to be desired complexes winter in Europe. The tours are many and varied to suit all tastes and ages, boat rides, museums, extreme sports such as skiing, snowboarding and esquibunda, snowshoeing rackets, ride snowmobiles, night tours and not to mention the various options cuisines.
Bariloche is a beautiful city and offers tourists several entertainment options, so best to take your time and enjoy it, I'll post some tips along with a travel itinerary to have an excellent trip.

TRAVEL ITINERARY:
Day 1 - On the first day in Bariloche - The most recommended would be to rent your own clothes for skiing, the stores are located mostly in Calle San Martin and Calle Mitre, the prices are quite different but you can not just look at the value, as the quality of clothes is very important not to have a nasty surprise. I suggest starting by Calle Mitre and walk towards the civic center, and then follow the San Martin that was where I found the best prices and excellent quality clothes not miss more than half a day to rent his clothes. Enjoy lunch in downtown Bariloche, my suggestion is the restaurant El Alberto Bowling, where you have excellent prices, delicious food and the portions plentiful. After lunch, go to the Civic Center and enjoy to enter the Museum de la Patagonia Francisco P. Moreno which is very interesting, tells the story of Bariloche highlighting the significant German influence in its foundation, as well as the animals of the region Patagonia. It is also worth saying that, if the day is sunny, great! But if during his stay verify that there is a possibility of rain, prefer then stroll through the Civic Center, shopping along Calle Mitre, have a hot chocolate and visit the museum de la Patagonia with the rainy day, where you can shelter from the rain and the constant cold and windy city of Bariloche.

Day 2 - Cerro Catedral - Check the speed of the wind, usually with strong winds because the lifts are closed and there is not as up to the slopes, this rule also applies to Cerro Otto if you use the cable car. It is worth mentioning that for those who are beginner can make the first class at the base of Cathedral.
This tour is a full day for those going skiing, as someone who just wants to know the complex of winter can be done in half a day, both options are very good, even for those who will not ski there are several options that compensate for the trip to Cerro Catedral, I suggest taking the enclosed cable car and climb up a ridge to take a hot chocolate in one of the restaurants at the top of the Cathedral enjoying the beautiful view, but remember, you must be using clothing for skiing or be very well wrapped as the summit is much cooler than in the city. You can still wander through the mall that is located at the base of the hill and then have lunch at one of the restaurants in the complex winter, my suggestion is to try the Deer (Stag) which is one of the typical foods of the Patagonia.
For those going skiing for the first time, you can hire the service class for beginners and rental equipment at a branch in the center of Bariloche or if you prefer, rent equipment directly to one of the specialty shops at the base of Cerro Catedral, the price does not change much, the difference is in the hiring of the remise service. For those who have never skied it is essential to class for beginners, is to say that when I try the equipment, you should have a greater attention to the boots, so they are not too tight, they should be fair and not tight.

Day 3 - Cerro Campanario - We will start the day at Cerro Campanario is surely the most beautiful view you get from Bariloche city and its hills and lakes. An important point to be noted is that, the Belfry is one hill that has not stopped their activities by the wind, because their lift is protected by trees, where the bases have lower lift heights that most other lifts, thus providing protection wind for seats that rise through a corridor of trees made by man in the forest. However, this tour will be better spent with a clear sky, ie without clouds, because the view is wonderful! In my opinion, you can not go to Bariloche and miss the Cerro Campanario and enjoy the beautiful view, have a coffee with "cubanitos" kind of straw biscuit with chocolate filling.
After glaring at Cerro Campanario, continue on to Puerto Pañuelo where we will board for a lovely walk by the lake Nahuel Huapi, Isla Victoria and Bosque Arrayanes - this tour is fundamental to good weather so you can walk quietly through the woods and around the Island, but certainly the best of this tour takes place during the route between Puerto Pañuelo and Victoria Island, where you can make crackers (saltine crackers) for the birds, just climb onto the deck of the boat and position on one side lifting the hand with the cookie that birds remove it from your hands, very cool, then prepare the machine.

4 - El Refugio en Arelauquen - Must, despite the value of the ride to be a little high! This tour requires reservation, as it has a limited number of people each time. It is worth saying that the best time is the first, which begins at 18hs30min and return to 21hs30min because you have the opportunity to climb the mountain during the day, and so reach the refuge in the evening where you can enjoy the view of the lakes Nahuel Huapi, Gutiérrez and Moreno, as well as the ridge entitled to multiple pictures at sunset, in other times, there is no privilege, when it comes to the refuge already tonight.
The tour starts when it comes to the reception of the club, where he is serving a delicious cold board accompanied by a good wine for those who are wine, while waiting for boarding 4x4 jeep to climb the mountain, and where are the powerful bikes snow. After a brief instruction on safety procedures and the handling of the snowmobile starts to play, and you'll definitely feel a gallant action movie jumpy when riding this toy.
Upon arriving at the refuge, even with the light of day you can take several photos and then enjoy a delicious cheese fondue and other chocolate entitled to sparkling, just ask. Finally, down the mountain riding the snowmobile, this time at night. This tour is fascinating! A unique experience.

5 - Villa La Angostura and Cerro Bayo - This tour is a full day. Where the most interesting would be hiring the ride in a travel agency in Calle Mitre or surroundings because bus to go the route is long and tiring more than 80km away from the center of Bariloche and Villa La Angostura, in addition to , to go to Cerro Bayo, you will have to spend an extra by hiring taxi or remise. Have the option of renting a car, I do not advise, because in addition to being cheap rent, the way to Cerro Bayo is bumpy and can have ice on the road thus making dangerous and tense, then relax and enjoy the scenery trip with a local guide at your disposal telling a bit of the local particularities.

6 - Cerro Tronador and Ventisquero Negro (black glacier) - The Tronador is gorgeous! It is located on the border between Argentina and Chile, is so named because of the chunks of ice that break off and provide noise. Remember that, if you drive down the road to the Tronador has schedules for the transit vehicle to go back and forth, because the road is narrow and sometimes some surprises. Posted a picture with the schedules of coming and going from the road to Tronador. The trip is very beautiful, but also tiring, we stopped for lunch at Pampa Linda, and the site does not offer many lunch options, not like the lunch.

7 - Llao Llao - Take part in the morning to visit the luxurious Hotel Llao Llao, the scenery is beautiful, the location is prime and render beautiful pictures, for those who want to know the hotel and its facilities can schedule a guided tour, please call hotel and make your reservation, normally ride happens on Wednesdays. In the afternoon we will visit the Swiss Colony - In this small village there is a crafts fair crafts with several articles in wool, wood, typical food, German pastries, homemade jams, antiques and more. This region can not be expected to have much emotion, just a stroll to shopping in crafts fair, enjoy traditional food and take a good afternoon coffee or lunch at one of the few local restaurants.
